Which is why they have over 100 patents, utility models, designs and brands. The i17R is a workhorse torch from LED Lenser’s Industrial range with a rechargeable battery for user convenience. It uses Safety Ytrion battery cells which are lighter than NiMH batteries and charge up to five times faster than lithium ion. Additionally, the batteries can be charged for more than 5000 cycles with virtually no capacity loss. The i17R has a floating charge system: with the charging dock, which can be wall mounted, and the magnetic charging cable, the light is ready to use with a mere flick of the wrist. A built-in emergency light function means that if power is interrupted while the torch is charging it will automatically light up, providing useful illumination in the event of a power cut. Equipped with LED Lenser’s AFS Advanced Focus System optics and one-handed Rapid Focus control, the i17R can project a 1000 lumen beam up to 450 metres and has a temperature control system which prevents the LEDs from overheating, prolonging the lifetime of the torch and protecting the user from burns.
