Coast Polysteel 600R Rechargeable Twist Focusing Torch

The Coast Polysteel 600R is a rechargeable version of the popular Polysteel 600 and offers an output of 530 lumens or 710 lumens depending on the battery type.

The dual power system means that it can be powered by the rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack for increased run-times and an output of 530 lumens or it can use four non-rechargeable AA alkaline batteries which provides a shorter run-time but a higher maximum output of 710 lumens.

The lithium-ion battery pack features a micro USB port so that it can be charged using the included USB cable via a computer or mains adaptor, or using the included car charger. While charging is in progress and LED indicator glows red and turns green once charging is complete. The battery pack also features a standard USB port and can be used as a power bank to charge external devices.

It features a stainless steel core that protects the inner components, meaning the Polysteel 600R is impact resistant up to a 2 metre drop height. The outer casing is made of lightweight polymer, displaying a comfortable non-slip grip design.

A half press of the tactical tail switch from off cycles through the three brightness levels, high, mid and low, giving you the option to choose the right level for your application.

Using Coast’s Pure Beam Focusing Optic System the bulls-eye spot beam provides a beam range of up to 247 metres, and the ultra view flood beam gives a consistent circle of light with no dark circles in the middle. Changing between spot to flood is achieved using the twist focus control in the head of the Polysteel 600R.

The Polysteel 600R is fully waterproof to IPX8 standards up to a depth of 3 metres for 6 hours.

• Mid: 155 lumens; 9 hours, 30 minutes run-time; 108 m beam range
